My chapter for class NaNoWriMo

   Hey guys/girls. As you may now, I am in a class called 21st Century Writing and in this class we're are writing a class book. This book is called 27, and for this book each student writes a chapter. I've been working on my chapter for the book and I want to show it too, so here it is:

21st Century Investigators

Dear ________,

Hello, my name is Victor Prince. As you may know, I was assigned to assist Officer Anthony Quill in his assignment to find Vlan Norman, a man who was thought to have died 30 years ago. But, it turns out that he was alive and was mysteriously spotted “sucking out the soul of a man” as described by a witness.

Sounds impossible, right? Well, that’s exactly what the NPD (Novana Police Department) thought when witness Thomas Noire exclaimed to them what happened.

Well, there was someone who believed him, or at least something. The 21st Century Investigations took the case of finding this “Vlad Norman”, and wouldn’t sleep till’ it was solved.

In this debriefing report, you will read about the journey of finding this “Soul Eater”, and how we took him down.

It all started on February 16 (two days after the shootings). Before this first assignment, I wasn’t even a full agent. I was just an intern for the 21st Century Investigations. That meant, when Director Myers called my name on the intercom, I was as surprised as deer about to get hit by a car.

“Hello, this is Director Myers. Victor Prince, report to my office IMMEDIATELY. Repeat, Victor Prince report to my office IMMEDIATELY.”

As soon as I heard my name on the intercom, I rushed to Director Myers office like a cheetah. Leaving the coffee I was getting for my boss, Officer Quill, on a random table.

You see, this was the DIRECTOR calling me. I was an intern, not even close to being an agent yet, and the DIRECTOR was calling ME. It was absolutely crazy. My heart was beating like a drum, and my head was all over the place. Why would the DIRECTOR be calling ME?

As I showed up at Director Myers’ office door I could hear people arguing loudly inside. I knocked on the door and it went silent.

I was surprised when I didn’t see Director Myers, but instead my boss, Officer Quill opening the door.

“Well don’t just stand there! Get your nut head inside!” commanded Quill as he grabbed my arm into the office.

“Wow” was the first thing I thought when I walked inside. The office was covered with papers scattered everywhere, desk and floor. The Director and Quill looked exhausted, like they’ve been working on a case for days.

“Sit down”, said Director Myers, and I did exactly what he said.

“Officer Quill, do you mind telling your intern why he is here?” asked the Director, which meant, “Tell your stupid intern why he’s here before I run out of patients!”

Quill nodded. “Two days ago witness Thomas Noire claimed to have seen a man killing another in an alleyway. He described what the killer did as “sucking out the essence of the other man”.

Of course, when he reported this to the NPD no one seemed to believe him”, Quill explained. “But, as we both know, this isn’t a case for the police.”

I nodded.

“Yes, and this brings into why you’re here”, The Director said. “Mr. Quill here wants you to assist him in his assignment to find this Soul Eater.”

My legs started to get numb. “MY BOSS WANTS ME, AN INTERN, TO HELP HIM ON A MISSION?!!”, I thought in my head, but it showed on the grin on my face.

“Of course this is only because Officer Quill’s partener is on vacation, and can’t work with him on this mission”, Director Myers quickly said right after.

That still didn’t change how I felt though. This was probably the first time an intern for 21st Century Investigations got to go on real assignment! (except for when interns go through initiation, or course)

“Yes, that is true, but this is great opportunity to learn what it’s like to be on the field. By the time we finish this assignment, you will be more experienced than any other interns in this association”, exclaimed Agent Quill. “That is the why me and Director Myers were arguing before you came inside, he didn’t think it was smart to let an inexperienced intern go on such an important assignment, but I told him that you were qualified for it.”

The thought of having my boss stick up for me made me feel very appreciated, but knowing that Director Myers didn’t have faith in me… well that me know I had to work extra hard on this assignment.

“I won’t prove you wrong, sir”, I replied, shaking.

“Let’s hope not”, Director Myers muttered under his breath, but I heard him.

I shook both of there hands and then began walking away.

“Oh, and Mr. Prince”, Agent Quill said as I was about to close the door. “Don’t forget to bring me my coffee”, he finished and then shut the door.

Two days had past since the conversation and I was starting to think that Agent Quill and Director Myers forgot about the assignment. I was wrong.

“Victor Prince, please report to the flight deck. Repeat, Victor Prince please report to the flight deck”, blasted the intercom.

I was in the middle of combat training, so I had to excuse myself to my partner, John Cena. After that quickly ran/walked to the flight deck.

“You’re late”, Agent Quill said as I arrived at the flight deck.

Cardboard VR (recommended apps)

Hey, guys/girls! I got an Allie VR Cardboard headset and so after messing around with it for a week or so I have some recommend apps for this awesome product. 

* The Allie VR headset is a device that lets you go into a "virtual reality". First you download a VR app (a VR game or exploration app), open the app, slide your phone into the headset, then put it on to see the virtual reality you downloaded.

So here are some cool apps I got to use and enjoy:

• VR Roller Coaster- This app let's you enjoy a virtual roller coaster for FREE. It is extremely fun and gets you really dizzy (well, dizzy for my mom)
• VR Space- This is an exploration VR app. You can look around this extremely detailed space station, but there is nothing else to do but that. I recommend this to people who like looking at cool stuff. (FREE)
• VR Crossy- Have you played cross road? Well this is just that, but instead of clicking the screen to move the character, you get to cross the road yourself. This is a simple fun game that I enjoy. (FREE)
• VR Car Driving Simulator- This is one of the best VR apps I have. You get to drive your own car in this cool virtual desert. I do find this game challenging because it is hard to turn with the headset, but I won't say that it isn't fun because it is. (FREE)
• VR Island HD & VR World- These are no doubt the best VR exploration apps. I put them together on this because they are really similar. You see, VR Island takes place on a remote island that looks extremely (yes, I know I've been using extremely a lot in my sentences) realistic. When I put on this headset with this app, it looks like I'm in a whole new world. The reason why this is different then VR World is because VR World has a more animated approach and has things you can interact with (an example are the pigs that you can find in this world). VR World also has features like: exploring caves, exploring villages, waterfalls, and etc. I love both of these apps a lot.

Anyways, those are my most recommend VR apps. I hope that if you ever get a VR headset, you download all of these because I know you'll enjoy them. So, what are you waiting for? Go buy a Allie VR cardboard headset for only $24.99!

Hey guys/girls. I'm really, really confused right now because I thought a new episode of The Flash was suppose to come on tonight. Well, I guess it isn't because when I put the CW channel on at eight, iZombie was on. This makes me mad because I was going to do a review on the new episode on my blog, but I guess next week because that's when it's really coming on. Another thing that makes me mad is that The Flash had this long one month break, then two episodes week to week, and now this long two week break. Like, what the heck. Either let us watch the show or don't. I find it pure torture that I have to wait this long for episodes. Anyways, I still have to find a way to share the review I did on BvS: Dawn of Justice with you guys, but I have a feeling that it's going to take a while. Well, peace.

Black Panther vs Batman Argument (Me vs Tristan)

This is a  text conversation between me and my friend Tristan. Enjoy!

Me: Hey, Tristan. I know how you like Batman and all, but I was thinking. Wouldn't Black Panther win him? Most people actually agree with me.

Tristan (My friend): Don't care about what you think. Black Panther would get his butt handed to him

Me: Lol. Your funny. You should be a comedian. :P

Tristan: No, you should because you think Black Panther would win Batman

Me: Again with the jokes

Tristan: Yep, well here's another joke: Black Panther could win Batman

Me: I think you lose your comedy gift

Tristan: Hey! I know why you THINK he would win! It's because Black Panther is black, isn't it? Your freakin' racist.

Me: I'm not racist. Anyways I saw a vote on who would win and Black Panther won by 7% more voters, so HAHAHA. :)

Tristan: Well anyone can vote, but they can't however fight like Batman.

Me: Batman is a great fighter, indeed, but Black Panther was trained in the most powerful fighting styles (and some are only known by his Wakandian people) since he was a kid. He has the knowledge of all the Black Panthers before him, which gives him way more experience then Batman. But, of course, no Batman fan boy would ever agree to this so let's say they had the same amount of experience. Well, Black Panther still wins. He is one of Marvel's top 10 smartest characters just so you know, and a great strategist/plan maker since he is the ruler of his OWN country. His armor is much stronger then any of Batman's suits since it is made out of vibramium silk. Black Panther has much more stamina because of his Panther amulet which also gives him other abilities including: night vision, olympic level strength and agility, olympic level speed, a greater sense of smell and hearing, plus a connection with the panther god. He was trained to be a warrior and can see someones moves before they even do it. He has vibramium claws that can rip threw anything, and has the world's greatest tech and resource in his hands. Maybe, just maybe, Batman would win if he had time to prepare for this fierce foe, but if we just got Batman and Black Panther out of nowhere and made them fight to the death, Black Panther would win. Even without his Panther charm, he has an olympic level at everything, the charm just enhances it. But, don't forget, with the panther charm Black Panther gets enhance strength, and this strength once severely injured the Hulk. THE FREAKIN' HULK!

Tristan: ...

Me: Hahaha. Still no reply. Admit it, I've won this debate. Black Panther is BEAST!

Tristan: Nope. Black Panther is gay. That rest my case.

Me: Tell me why Batman would win.

Tristan: Batman always wins because of his master detective work, and he literally knows every fighting style known and unknown to man. He also knows every style of illusion there is. He has an antidote to all poisons and toxins and has pushed himself to the peak of human ability. Not to mention the bat suit has level 8 body protection from combat and guns, along with insulation against pretty much everything!!  Well, there you go. Oh, and also, has Black Panther beaten people with powers beyond comprehension (like Superman) by himself? Well, Batman has!

Me: Still writing a reply, but yes he has.

Tristan: Who?

Me: He has beat Hulk, and once went head to head with Thanos (even though he lost). It was still a good fight. (Still not done with other reply, wait up)

Tristan: Batman has beaten Parkside, Brainiac, Superman, freaking AMAZO (who can copy all the powers of the Justice League BTW) and has even beaten jla on his own, without the help of his team

Me: Batman's armor might be "level 8" (whatever the heck that is) but vibramium can only be destroyed by another vibramium object. And even with "detective skills", that won't do nothing against Black Panther. Black Panther will detect every move of Batman's. Black Panther was trained in the greatest fighting styles, so the others won't mean nothing to him because of how boss he is. Also, since Black Panther is in the illuminati, he has the space gem (an infinity gem) giving him almost unlimited power. I don't care what you say now. HE HAS A FREAKIN' INFINITY GEM!

Tristan: Batman has been worthy enough to wield both the yellow and green lantern rings. But that doesn't matter because he does't need powers to defeat anyone. 

Me: If Black Panther was in the DC universe then he would probably have the green, yellow, and BLUE lantern ring. Green for having to the willpower to protect his own kingdom. Yellow for the fear he gives to all that challenge him. And blue for the hope he gives to his kingdom and his fellow teammates. 

Tristan: But, you see, he isn't DC. So, he would never have the chance to wear the ring for a fact.

Me: Black Panther doesn't need powers either. He is in the greatest shape a normal human can be in. REMEMBER WHAT I SAID, he was TRAINED to be a WARRIOR. He was trained to beat foes like Batman to protect his kingdom from anyone or anything. Another thing is that once Superman carried Thor's hammer. So, if that can happen, Black Panther could wear a stupid ring that is nothing compared to an infinity gem. 

Tristan: Well, remember this: BATMAN FACES FOES ON A DAILY BASES AND COMES OUT ON TOP WITH VIRTUALLY NO CASUALTIES WHERE THERE IS BLOOD ON BLACK PANTHERS HANDS! Also, in Marvel they kill whereas Batman has enough morals not to.

Me: Black Panther only kills to protect his kingdom, like a solider fighting to protect his country. Black Panther is not a cold-blooded killer. 

Tristan: Batman doesn't kill and protects his city and the world.

Me: Black Panther protects Wakanda so well, everyone wants to live there. I don't see anyone wanting to live in Gotham. Also, Batman has killed before and you know it.

Tristan: No he hasn't!!! What?

Me: Here's some proof. 

(I sent him a video of people Batman has killed)

Tristan: What kind of proof is that?! It's to blurry to even read that I don't get what you wanted to show me. 

Me: Oh, well Batman has hanged a criminal from his bat jet and much more. Lik up "list of people Batman has killed" and there is plenty.

Tristan: Wrong and Black Panther is still gay. Bye, I'm getting of for the night so see ya.

Me: Batman is gay.

Tristan: Yes, then what do you call Catwomen and Thalia Al Goul?

Me: What do you call Storm, an omega level mutant and Black Panther's wife?

Tristan: Well, at least Batman gets more girls and has kids. Wonder why Storm won't have a kid with Black Panther...

Me: Yeah well let's call this a tie (for now) and tomorrow let's continue.

Tristan: Sure. A tie, for now. Bye

Me: Peace

The next day we argued again and decided nobody would win (I still think BP would win). Who do you think will win? Tell me in the comments.

**NEW GOTG EVENT ON AVENGERS ACADEMY GAME**

Hey, guys/girls! I am very excited to tell you about the new Guardians of the Galaxy event on Marvel's Avengers Academy. There was a new update for one my favorite games, Marvel's Avengers Academy, and with that update came this new event. The event has this cool plot that goes like this: Avengers Academy finds out that there is another superhero school in space. It turns out that the school was attacked, but The Guardians of the Galaxy, Nebula, and Yondu escaped from the school and landed on Earth. Not only do those characters land on Earth, but also Ronan the Accuser and the Chitauri do too (Those are the aliens that attacked the space school). Now the avenger traineys and the heroes of space must work together to stop Ronan and his alien friends from destroying Earth.

In this event, there are 4 episodes. On each episode you can unlock a certain character(s). Episode 1 let's you unlock Intergalactic Iron Man, Nebula, and Star-Lord. 

As you see from the picture above, I've unlocked all 3 for episode 1. I just need to get the certain items to actually have the character. 

The same was for Intergalactic Iron Man, but just settled in a different way since it was only a costume. Nebula is the only character that didn't need a bunch of items to unlock because she cost shards (a rare currency in the game). I was lucky to get her because my mom let me buy enough shards to do it. Without buying shards, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get her since shards are that rare. 

To unlock the other characters you must get to the next stage. I've heard (not sure of) that to get to the next stage you must unlock only Intergalactic Iron Man and Star-lord, but I believe you have to level up in the event. You see, on the picture that shows all the limited addition characters, there is a level bar on top. Maybe once you get to a certain level, the next episode unlocks. I can't find any other reason on why a level bar would be there.

Now this is when things get difficult. During this event, there is a new limited time currency called Energy Crystals that you can get by completing event missions. 

You can use these crystals to buy the limited edition characters, or buildings/decorations. 

The buildings produce certain items. Some for getting characters and the one Iron Man suit, and one  that give you med packs that heal your characters. You might ask, "Why do your characters have to be healed?". Well, guess what. Marvel's Avengers Academy has finally introduced battling! It is really simple battling, but it's something. You see, the certain characters (Nebula, Iron Man, and Star-lord) are able to battle the Chitauri, which also gets you items to unlock other things.

Anyways, not only the way you get to interact in this event, the event's storyline, and the new limited edition characters are amazing, but also the design.

As you can tell, the new world designs coming from the event look really cool, and I hope I get to see even more world designs. Who knows, maybe later in the event we can go to space and see the other super hero school? That would be awesome, but right now I'm just going to focus on getting Star-lord.
